Everyone always talks about what skin care products to use and rarely do they tell you about the tools. Well I am here to change the game! DUN DUN DUNNNNNN!! I am going to share 5 of my must-have tools that you need to have in your bathroom (like yesterday).

Most likely you are looking at this picture and saying to yourself, "Nicole....wtf is that stuff? ONE: it looks expensive, TWO: what is that even for, THREE: are those rocks?" Well let me put your mind at ease...it's for aesthetics!!!!! Everything that I am going to share with you today is all reasonably priced (well below $15). Most of the items you might already know what it is & what its used for and some you my have never seen like ever and thats the goal. So lets begin:
ONE: Jade Roller
Jade rollers are having their moment in the spotlight right now; however, they have actually been a staple in Chinese skincare routines since the 7th century. You can think of them as handheld mini face massagers. They are can be made of beautiful green jade or pink quartz, and are believed to have healing and protective properties for the skin, including boosting blood circulation, reducing swelling, and allowing for deeper penetration of skincare products.
The most well-known benefits of using a jade roller include reducing inflammation and puffiness of the skin, reducing the appearance of under eye circles (especially if your roller is cold), stimulating the lymphatic system and blood circulation, brightening complexion, tightening pores, helping reduce the appearance of fine lines, and allowing skincare products to penetrate more deeply. Aside from these benefits, its also a lovely way to relax and get in “bedtime mode”. After using the jade roller, your skin will feel cool and calm and ready for bed.

TWO: Cotton Rounds
Cotton Rounds...no big deal right?? WRONG! The seemingly unimportant skincare accessory is about to change your skin—if you use them correctly. Cotton rounds are often hypoallergenic, as well as ultra-soft, lint-free and quilted for strength and durability. Therefore, they are made especially for both the application of toners, astringents and lotion, and the removal of nail polish, eye makeup, lipstick and foundation. Some brands even offer exfoliating cotton rounds, which maintain a micro-head exfoliating surface for extra deep cleansing, in addition to the same application and removal uses as standard cotton rounds.

THREE: Precision Pore Cleansing Pad
This sounds expensive and boujee but I promise you their is a cheap version out there somewhere. Precision pore cleansing pad is a flexible silicone pad that gently massages the face and helps deliver a deep clean with radiant results. This tool uses tiny bristles to invigorate the skin and effectively clean pores, helping to exfoliate and soften the skin.
FOUR: Silicone Face Mask Brush
Such a basic product but comes in handy so you don't have face mask all over your hands. The Silicone face mask brush is a compact and convenient silicone jelly brush for applying facial masks. This tool will tidy up your at-home mask and pack sessions. Featuring a premium silicon jelly brush that's designed like a little spatula, this essential can be used to evenly spread your favorite mask onto your face without wasting any precious product.

FIVE: Skin Clearing Tool
Used by beauty professionals worldwide and me, the double ended Ulta Skin Clearing Tool is the answer to superior blemish extraction. Expertly crafted with a small loop opening for pressing out blackheads and a medium loop opening for whitehead removal, this precision finished stainless steel tool makes easy work for a clear blemish-free complexion.
In order to use, you must cleanse the skin before using. For best results, apply a hot towel to your face to warm the skin and to open the pores, or use immediately after showering. Position tool loop around the edge of the blemish and gently press to extract. After use, clean the blemish area and tool with cotton and alcohol.

No matter how simple the tool is, it will get the job done. You might call BS but I promise you when I say this, there is a difference between cheap and inexpensive. Here, where things are inexpensive, you will love them just as much as I do! You don't need expensive products to get the job done, you are what you need to get the job done so appreciate the little things that the world has to offer.
